Movement DirectoryPrivacy policy
Last updated 14 October 2026
The Do More Movement Directory (“Do More”, “we”) helps people find ways to move near them. This policy explains what personal information we collect, why, and what you can do about it. We handle personal information in line with the Australian Privacy Principles.
If you're searching the directory
You don't need an account to search. If you choose “Near me”, your browser shares your approximate location with the page so it can sort results by distance. We don't store that location. We count which movement types people browse in each region, so we can show the most popular first. That count isn't linked to you. If you suggest an activity, we keep what you tell us about it, plus your name and email only if you choose to give them, so we can ask a follow-up question. Like most websites, our hosting provider keeps short-lived technical logs (such as IP address and browser type) to keep the site running and secure.
If you manage a listing (Providers)
When you claim or manage a listing we collect:
- your name, email address, and optionally your phone number and role in the business;
- anything you write in your claim or change requests;
- the business details, photos and Activity information you add or change.
We use this to confirm you represent the business, to let you sign in, to keep the listing accurate, and to contact you about your listing. Your personal email and phone are not shown on the public listing unless you enter them as the business's contact details. Business details and photos you add are published in the directory.
Signing in
We sign you in with a one-time link sent to your email, or a password if you choose to set one. We use essential cookies to keep you signed in; we don't use advertising cookies.
Who else handles your information
We use a few service providers to run the directory:
- Supabase, for our database, sign-in and photo storage (data held in Sydney, Australia);
- Vercel, which hosts the website (it may process requests outside Australia);
- Mapbox, which draws our maps (it receives map requests, not your account details).
We don't sell personal information, and we don't share it for marketing.
Your choices
You can ask to see, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you, or ask us to remove your access to a listing, by emailing admin@do-more.live. If you have a concern about how we've handled your information, contact us first; if we don't resolve it, you can contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (oaic.gov.au).
Changes
We'll update this page if our practices change, and note the date at the top.
